Harry Potter Questions :: Section Introduction

September !! Ah!! The month for which all Potterheads await. The month, when the new year begins. It denotes, new beginnings!

This september.. September of 2016.. I am going to do some makeover for this blog and make it - 'Pages from a SlytherClaw in a Muggle World'

Also... The new section - Harry Potter questions.

Now.. let me tell you.. I love Harry Potter. Cross my heart and swear to die, I have read the books end to end many times and seen the movies a million times. Yet, there are some things that I am not very sure about.
Thus, all my doubts and queries, I will post here and hopefully you can help me solve them ;)

Girl Guide : Introduction

Hey friends...
Now well, let me make it real clear that I am no expert over such issues but I am a girl who had lots of things growing up. And as God has made me, I like to deal with my situations myself. It doesnt mean that parents or anyone older plays no role or should play no role, but I sincerely believe that girls should be given sufficient freedom and ample love.

Having said that... I am currently seeing my younger sisters grow. One of them, I find is totally like me. And the other one - well, she is definitely a challenge to me as well.

So, this new thing I thought I might share online. I am no expert but maybe my experiences and story help other girls like me.

If you are searching for any topic that I will share under this label, you are either a worried parent/ guardian or you are the girl... I believe the latter is more accurate.
First thing you need to know is that there is nothing wrong with the little girl. Don't freak out! You are perfectly normal and sane... Almost just as sane as I am (or maybe loads better). You see there is something that I have learned the hard way and I dont want others to learn it that way - people are not evil/ bad... they are just different. And anyone or anything we dont find according to our plan, we have a habit to term that as evil.

Therefore, I dedicate this post and every other post that will follow under this label as an attempt to put out this word so that I can help as many as possible or atleast let them feel sure that there is nothing wrong with them. We need to just change the perspective :)

Google it? then POST it!

I am a person with very limited knowledge but I can help in a wide variety of topics, almost anything. And this

is simply because I have an internet connection in my cellphone and whenever I need anything, I google it.

Today, while coming back from somewhere, we had parked the car and then it wont just start up. There was some weird symbol on the dashboard, one I saw for the first time. My dad tried everything and we even called a lot of help but nothing could be done. It was dark and getting late, so we came home leaving the car there in the parking. But it is then I realized something… I may not know how to fix a car but I am a CSE graduate and I know how to google. I was doing my bit very well.

But then I also thought about something a mentor had told me. He had said that every little article or every single information on the internet is because someone else put it there. Even when you post a little question and people reply, they are taking time out of their lives to answer you back, provide you information, free of cost and they don’t even know you. It is like wow!

He also told me that whenever I search for something, I should in some way put the answer on the internet after my problem is solved. There is a good chance that there is someone else on the planet who faces the same problem.

Today, when I googled about my car and I got some answers (though they said that nothing could be done and the dealer was to be contacted), I realized that whoever wrote this, even if it was just one line, I don’t know who she/he is but they proved to be quite helpful. And not just here… I probably google a thousand things and read tens of answers for every search result.

Therefore… everything that I search on the internet will eventually find its way into my blog. Not everything to be honest but I will try my best, especially, if I got very few answers. And to anyone who reads it, I am not asking you for much but even if you spend a minute each day to answer a question, you will have helped so many people by your efforts of just one month that you couldn’t even believe yourself.

So…. If you google it, do POST it!

Online_Library : Introduction

Hey friends,
I am back again with an introduction post.

Online_Library will have ebooks which are totally free to download for everything.
Like I always say that I love reading and everyone must read... so I keep on searching ebooks... as they are convenient to read.

While searching for ebooks I found that there are blogs where people used to post only ebooks but it is a little unfortunate that certain such blogs that I found are now not active. Therefore, I thought why not me!! I dont honestly have a very large collection but I am sure I have some books that people will enjoy... and also the task for me is to keep expanding my own library which I am sure you all will agree!!

Pictalog

Hey guys and girls...
I have introduced alot of new labels without any introduction post, so it feels really nice to write one after so long :D

Anyways,
'Pictalog' as you might have already guessed, I am going to post alot of pictures under it. The images will mostly be screenshots from movies and songs. There will be plenty of them and chances do exist that one or two might be bad quality but as there will be plenty, you can always search for the best ;)

You are free to request screenshots of a particular person, movie or from a particular song.. I will definitely try to help you with the best of my capabilities...

Also, all these images are free to use. I am going to include the blog address, but it can be easily cropped out. However, I would really appreciate that if you just using the images to post elsewhere, I have no copyright on them, but it would be nice if you didnt remove the blog address..
In case you are using these images for making some graphics, no problems again... it would just be nice if you could mention the blog address ;)

And well.. I would just say that I dont own any images. I just watch alot of movies and videos and I just capture screen caps... Its really simple and maybe someday I will add another blog entry about it... but till then you can check it here - how-to-take-image-of-your-desktop

Miracle of d day.... ;)

Hey Friends,
Well - Miracle of Day is nothing very mysterious, contrary to as it sounds ;)

Indeed, trust me, its rather very simply!!

Every day, from morning as we wake, till we sleep... we do a thousand of chores, meet several people and all our actions have some consequences. Sometimes our actions result in happiness, sometimes in sadness or anger.
However, there will also be actions that make a difference!!

There are times, when you cant always desire, you need to give at moments!!

Therefore, we have the miracle of the Day! :)
Everyday, I am going to live like I always do :P but there will be something I did that will make someone else's life better or provide someone else happiness. That will be my Miracle!

Like, the best I remember was, on 1st May 2013, my friend Param and I wished someone 'Happy Birthday' ... I know it's kinda lame but apparently we wished the first people and probably the only people who did it at 12 midnight. The person was kinda wanting someone to wish.. someone else, so was a lil upset but we wished and atleast for one moment, but that ought to have cheered him up!
In the day ofcourse we gave him a Dairy Milk - Fruit and Nut, which outta have done more than a wish!! Yumm :P
That was my Miracle for that day!

Now, whenever I do something like that, and I remember to write - you will read such stupid things but always things that leave a smile, even if for a second, on someone's face!

I would always search for some place to publish my designs... maybe even take a request or two... so here I am posting all my designs and other things on my blog... :D

Introduction

Well... as traditionally what I do on my blog.. with introducing a label.. I try and mention what kind of posts you will find in the label.. so here I am... introducing 'sci - log'

very honestly.. though I am a science (non medical) student.. I dont have much information on science.. but I love interacting with people.. and it has been God's grace that I have had teachers who have been amazing with their job... so I think I know somethings.. and I want to share them with others...

Sci - log will deal with mostly whatever we see around us.. normal things :P but I am just gonna show you the abnormality behind them.. that is the science behind them :D :D

Introduction

Do you know there is alot more to the subject called 'Mathematics' than just numbers?? No I am not talking of geometry, graphs neither the complex numbers but alot more... Yes there is calculus, curves and measurements but even bigger things exist...

Here is just a small tribute or say effort from my side to the great things that we never see... Mathematics, in true sense is a language... and I am here just as a mere translator according to my 'knowledge and understanding'...

Recently.. I heard someone say 'Math is just like some poem or an artwork.. it is the creation of a mathematician.. in a more permanent way'

How true... Math is just some information embedded in numbers and drawing we often hate.. but if you know the language, they can be deciphered easily...

I myself am weak at Math, I started doing it in 9th because I hated why am I weak in Math... and since then.. lets say I am blessed to have teachers, who always made me do more and more of it.. and so here I am today.. I still hate it but it is one language I understand just like the one I speak or write... or probably with little more ease...

So lets not hate Math altogether and try and see if I can make you see some really interesting things in this...

Ps : I dont use Maths but Math.. for a teacher was cool enough to tell me -

M - Mentally
A - Affected
T - Teachers
H - Harassing
S - Students


and I cant get that outta my mind yet :)

this is Shruti. I am a teen age girl and to be honest I love to talk and love to write...someone suggested me to blog and so am here...
I am a science student but I got a huge penchant for arts and so you can guess I love alot of things...One of them is writing - I write fan fictions, stories, novels, biographies, poems and articles! I shall share all this with you and hope to know what you say of them...
