From a girl's eyes...

Venus - Goddess of Beauty, Mother Earth, Angels, Fairies, Fairy - Godmothers, Bharat Mata, Mother Mary, Devi... these are some women impositions we read and think of.. all the good and powerful auras.. they are all of woman faced...

In my country... there are 33 million Gods... half of them are Goddess... lets even say just 1 million Goddess... still isnt it a BIG number... in a land with 1 Million Goddess... a girl cries as she sees a pair of hands belonging to her own parents that want to take her breath away...

In a country where women have set examples of Mother Teresa, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Indira Gandhi.. why does a girl has to plead for her life? Why is she always the wrong gender? Why does she need to ask 'Why ME?'

Yes indeed we have progressed alot.. we may be owning the Nuclear Power of the world.. we may be one of the biggest producers of food, having one of the largest army, with the 7th largest area under the country, one of the biggest population... even when Barack Obama says that Indians give them a good competition... all this goes in vain.. just because we have forgotten our land..

A tree can never grow tall if it cut its roots... same way if half the flowers are already destroyed before they grow into fruits... how will the tree grow?

They say in time of need... men have more physical power than a woman and so woman is a weaker gender.. I really wanna ask - REALLY? The time of need is when a man uses force on a woman... and you call this criminal the strong part... Dont get me wrong.. I dont say guys are bad or criminal.. I just ask 'WHY ME?'

Why am I seen as an OMEN? Why is my birth a burden? Why am I denied Education... the Freedom... the EQUALITY?




WE just talk big.. we can reserve 33% for women in Parliament but we cant make sure there are 33% woman in the nation... how can we? We are so damn busy fighting over bills and accusing each other... we are so busy making money and showing others down...

Trust me if this is 'Technovating' I am better without it...

And in honest sense we arent really progressing either... there are still Girl Child murders, underage marriages, the system of bal-vidhwa, dowry...
...and if not this... then women are denied proper education.. medication... they are forced to produce children till a boy... they are cursed.. burnt...

Right from that reporter burnt in the Tandoor to Arushi murder case... I know atleast 20 cases which created sensation in the nation and all with victim - girls! Whereas we keep a terrorist in AC cells and his maintenance is in lakhs for a DAY... Why cant we spend even the 10% of it on developing human resources and checking that rules are obeyed?

Lets not talk big.. for once and do something.. no matter if its small... but atleast its some thing!
